All this for 6.02 out of pocket!!! Ok so I will try and explain how I did this. The Crest and Scope were 2 for 7 and you get a $4 RR there is a 1 off coupon for the Scope and a 75 cent off coupon for the Crest in last Sundays paper. The Gillette razors( I finally got 2 of these I have been looking for these forever, the shelves were always cleared) These for 8.99 with a 4 off coupon from 2 weeks ago. And you get a 6RR. Making it a dollar in overage. I used a 4RR from the huggies deal this week on each of the razors. I used a 3 RR on the Scope and Crest from the month long chapstick RR. Air Wick I motion is on sale starting in tomorrows ad for half price so they were 7.49 and I had a 6 off coupon from I don't know how long ago and where it came from. (sorry) So that made it 1.49. The Ricola was FREE with coupon from last weeks paper and the Halls Refresh was $1 then you get a $1RR and I used a 1 off coupon. And a handful of Caramels which by the way are really good!! So in the end I came home with two $6RR,$1RR, and a $4RR. So 17 dollars in RR to spend!! YEAH.

Last time they did this I waited til Sundays ad to come out in case there were more things in Sundays ad that I needed.

Great Photography Deal

I just booked our family photo session. This is such a great deal. We are actually not doing the Halloween themed pictures just getting some Fall photos taken. This is what she writes on her blog:


October 24th. The sessions are a half hour long and will begin at 10:00 and will end at 5:30.
I'll set up a spot at Kathryn Albertson Park, something spooky... cobwebs, pumpkins everywhere, and I'm even bringing my mom dressed up as a witch to pose with the princesses in a few shots. I've got some fun ideas!!!

The sessions are only $35. There isn't a limitation to age or how many kids you want in a session....

The session includes: 10 edited photos on a cd with granted copyrights.

I'll have all the props, candy and everything needed! Just bring your little ones dressed up in their fun costumes!!

Cookie Magazine cute and CHEAP craft ideas

Ok I was looking through my cookie magazine which I got for free!! And I spotted these really cute crafts to do with the kids it is really rainy out and so I was searching for some fun indoor stuff to do. So I thought I would post about it. My kids and I are going to try the Sock holder tomorrow. So here it is and I saw some other cute CHEAP crafts that I will also be posting about too.

Ride-on Pony

MATERIALS
sock
cotton or polyfill stuffing
wooden rod (such as an old broom handle)
ruler
duct tape
cord
scissors
yarn
felt
glue
INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fill the sock with the stuffing until it's firm.
2. Measure 4 inches from the tip of the rod and wrap duct tape around that spot 10 to 12 times to create a ridge.
3. Push the rod into the sock (through the stuffing) until the taped ridge is a few inches below the sock's heel.
4. Tie 2 feet of cord around the sock and pole, just below the ridge, to serve as reins.
5. Cut yarn for the mane and felt for the ears and eyes. Attach them with glue.

Bathroom Catchall

MATERIALS
clean and dry plastic bottle (such as for soda)
scissors
sock
ruler
tape
INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut off the top of the bottle at the desired height.
2. Pull the sock over the bottle and trim it 2 inches above the rim.
3. Tuck that sock overhang inside the bottle and secure it with tape.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fill the sock with the rice until it's firm.
2. Knot the end of the sock tightly; trim any excess.
3. Glue on pom-poms and buttons to create a face.
